Coach “G”

Genesis is a San Diego local, born and raised in North County. Her soccer career started when she was just 4 years old. Through her competitive youth years, she played at strong clubs like RSF Attack and San Diego Surf. Growing up with five brothers, there was no lack of 1v1 tournaments in the hallway at home when practices didn't feel like enough. 

Genesis was a varsity athlete at San Dieguito Academy and. was named Offensive MVP for 3 three years running. She continued her playing career at Division 1 program Saint Peter's University in New Jersey. Genesis was named All-MAAC Academic, 2016 October Athlete of the Month, and Team Captain. She graduated Summa Cum Laude with a Bachelor's in Marketing Administration and Master's Degree in Business Management. 

Post Collegiate career, Genesis continued her passion for the game playing semi-professionally for WPSL team, San Diego Parceiro Ladies. She was then given the opportunity to do what she loves in Europe. Genesis took her playing to the next level, playing professionally in Austria for FC Dornbirn in the 2 Bundesliga. 

Soccer has always been an influential part of Genesis' life and given her opportunities to grow not just as a player, but also as a person. The people and experiences soccer has brought into her life is priceless. Genesis is shifting that passion into giving back to the game. Preparing and mentoring the next generation to cultivate their passions. 

Genesis enjoys coffee, spending time with her dogs George and Louis, her loved ones, and is currently still playing semi-professionally in the WPSL and UPSL.
